Founded as a strategic joint venture by two partners backed by over 50 years of collective marine expertise and more than two decades dedicated specifically to the superyacht sector, CM Yacht Agents stands as the premier superyacht agency in Latin America.
We deliver seamless, localized support across five countries and more than 32 superyacht hubs through our fully operational, locally staffed offices.

Our co-founder and leader, Carlos Miquel (CM), offers a global outlook.
Born in Chile and a dual citizen of the United States and Chile, he was raised across Chile, the United States, Germany, and Spain. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism, wine and yachting industries, Carlos has collaborated with top maritime agencies in Chile, Patagonia, Antarctica, Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay.
A lifelong sailor who began sailing as a child in Chile, Europe, and the United States, Carlos now divides his time between his two homes in the United States and Chile: during the northern hemisphere summer he educates and promotes our beautiful region with captains, crews, superyacht management teams, and charter brokers; and during the southern hemispherere summer he delivers on-site operational support to yachts along with our teams in every country.
A respected industry leader, Carlos co-founded SuperyachtDestinations.com and Cuba Luxury Expeditions in 2020, and launched Superyacht Americas in 2024, reinforcing his longstanding commitment to grow the yachting activity across Latin America.
Since 2018 he has contributed to the Association of Yacht Support Services (AYSS) as a council member, holding the roles of Chairman and Co-Chairman from 2019 to 2023.
